Norwin Knights Pin Down Donations

The Norwin Knights varsity wrestling team showed their commitment to the community by raising funds for the residents of Transitions Healthcare North Huntingdon. The Knights dedicated a day of practice to collecting pledges for our facility as part of the wrestling program’s mission, SCRAP, which stands for Service, Competition, Relationships, Achievement and Passion. In a letter to the facility, the Knights conveyed their reasons for choosing Transitions Healthcare North Huntingdon as a recipient of their generosity. They indicated that it was their desire to help each resident achieve their individual goals and reach their highest level of independence. They also expressed their thanks to the hardworking staff and invited everyone to cheer them on during their next season of competition.

The staff and residents of Transitions Healthcare North Huntingdon are deeply appreciative for the thoughtfulness of the Norwin Knights wrestling team and to all of the donors who contributed the funds for our residents. We know that their contribution will be most appreciated by our wonderful residents and we look forward to seeing the Knights in action on the mats as soon as possible. Go Knights!
