Transitions Healthcare Washington PA's personal care home is located on the campus with a nursing facility and independent living units. The personal care home is limited to 48 residents. Due to the small size of the personal care home, a family environment is easily recognizable. Care of our residents is truly a team effort by our employees. We are delighted that you are interested in joining our team. The personal care home mainly employs individuals as universal workers. Highlights of this position include:
- Assist with dressing and hair care,
- Assist with meals, and
- Escorting residents to activities and other daily events.
This position requires certification. If you are not certified, certification is obtained by an online training course and competency test from the Department of Human Services. If you join our team, we will work with you so that you can be paid on day one while you are seeking your certification, if needed.
