Located in the heart of historic downtown Chambersburg, PA, our community is accessible to many nearby retailers, eateries, physicians’ offices and medical centers.
Whether its reading in the courtyard, observing the aviary in the lounge, or surfing the internet in the Activities Room, there are plenty of spaces in which residents can feel at home. Nowhere is this homelike atmosphere more evident than in our intimate accommodations. Residents may choose from three styles of semi-furnished private rooms on one of three levels – there is a room type to fit almost everyone’s preferences.
With only 45 beds, Shook Home is analogous to the small, close-knit communities of our youth. Meals are served in a dining room complete with a steam table and “restaurant style” point-of-service. There is even an in-house Beauty Salon & Barber Shop staffed by a licensed beautician.
