9/20/21 COVID Update:  This weeks Adams County Positivity Rate is 10.9%.  Modified visitation continues for all units with the exception of West Hall.  West Hall remains as a yellow zone for our unvaccinated newly admitted residents.  Visitation no longer has to stop when the county rate goes above 10% as long as at least 70% of residents are vaccinated.  Transitions current resident vaccination percent is 79%.
With the county positivity rate over 10%, we will begin testing all unvaccinated staff twice a week starting on 9/27 until the county rate falls below 10% for 14 days.  Modified visitation continues as follows Sunday – Thursday 10:30AM till 6:30PM.  Appointments are required for all indoor visits.  No appointment is needed for outdoor visits, however please allow time upon your arrival for us to get your loved one and transport them to the visitation area.  Outdoor visits are highly encouraged.  Masks are required for visitation for all residents and visitors regardless of vaccination status or visit location at this time.
This week, we will test all staff and residents on the lower level on 9/22.  This will conclude outbreak testing and we will resume group activities, beautician, and dining, following the Department of Health and CDC regulations for masks and social distancing during these events.

9/19/21 COVID Update:  COVID testing completed on 9/15 revealed 1 positive staff member.  No residents or staff members were exposed to this staff member.  No changes to visitation will occur at this time.  Visitation is open for all units except for West Hall.  West Hall remains as a yellow zone for our unvaccinated newly admitted residents.  Our next round of testing will be completed on Wednesday 9/22. 9/10/21 COVID Update:  Another round of Outbreak testing was completed on Wednesday, 9/8/21.  Most of the residents results are back and about half of the staff results are back with one new COVID case identified amongst staff.  At this time Visitation remains closed for our Annex 1 and West Hall Residents.  Our next round of outbreak testing will be completed on Wednesday 9/15. 9/7/21 COVID Update:  Another round of Outbreak testing was completed on Friday 9/3.  All resident results are back and most of the staff results are back with no new COVID cases.  At this time Visitation remains closed for our Annex 1 and West Hall Residents until we receive all of our results.  Our plan is to complete full outbreak testing for all residents and staff on Wednesday 9/8, and Wednesday 9/15. 9/1/21 COVID Update:  Another round of Outbreak testing was completed on 8/30.  Today we received results back that 1 resident and 1 staff member were positive for COVID.  At this time Visitation will be closed for our Annex 1 and West Hall Residents until we are able to determine if there are any additional cases.  Our plan is to complete full outbreak testing for all residents and staff on Friday 9/3, Wednesday 9/8, and Wednesday 9/15. 8/30/21 COVID Update:  Another round of Outbreak testing was completed today 8/30.  If all results are negative, this will conclude outbreak testing.  If there are any positive cases then we will continue outbreak testing until we are clear for 14 days.  At the conclusion of outbreak testing because we are a yellow county, we will test all unvaccinated staff weekly until Adams County returns to a green county.  Modified visitation continues Sunday – Thursday 10:30AM till 6:30PM.  Appointments are required for all indoor visits.  No appointment is needed for outdoor visits, however please allow time upon your arrival for us to get your loved one and transport them to the visitation area.  Outdoor visits are highly encouraged.  Masks are required for visitation.  County Positivity Rate was posted today at 7.9%.  Adams County remains as a yellow county, but is quickly approaching Red status.  Please stay safe and healthy!

8/23/21 COVID Update:  Another round of Outbreak testing was completed today 8/23, we anticipate that all results should be back by mid-week.  Modified visitation continues Sunday – Thursday 10:30AM till 6:30PM.  Appointments are required for all indoor visits.  No appointment is needed for outdoor visits, however please allow time upon your arrival for us to get your loved one and transport them to the visitation area.  Masks are required at this time for all indoor visitation regardless of vaccination status.  County Positivity Rate was posted today at 6.7%.  Adams County remains as a yellow county.  Currently all staff are being tested weekly as part of outbreak testing, when clear of positive cases for 14 days, we will test unvaccinated staff weekly while the county remains in yellow.

8/18/21 COVID Update:  Today we received 1 positive test result back for 1 staff member from our testing that was completed on Monday 8/16/21.  There was limited exposure to other staff and residents, however we will continue with  modified visitation Sunday – Thursday 10:30AM till 6:30PM.  Appointments are required for all indoor visits.  No appointment is needed for outdoor visits, however please allow time upon your arrival for us to get your loved one and transport them to the visitation area.  Masks are required at this time for all indoor visitation regardless of vaccination status.  We will complete another round of testing each Monday until we are fully clear for 14 days.

We have also made the decision today to postpone our 10-year Anniversary Celebration until the facility is clear and the County Positivity Rate falls below 5%.  We were really looking forward to a fun day for everyone, however keeping everyone safe and healthy takes priority.

8/16/21 COVID Update:  All of the results from last weeks COVID testing came back negative.  One more round of Outbreak testing was completed today, we anticipate that all results should be back by mid-week.  Modified visitation continues Sunday – Thursday 10:30AM till 6:30PM.  Appointments are required for all indoor visits.  No appointment is needed for outdoor visits, however please allow time upon your arrival for us to get your loved one and transport them to the visitation area.  Masks are required at this time for all indoor visitation regardless of vaccination status.  County Positivity Rate was posted today at 6.4%.  This moves Adams County from a Green County back into a Yellow County.  We will begin testing all unvaccinated staff weekly starting next week and staff will be required to wear eye protection in resident care areas.
