During routine PCR testing of staff, we had one staff member’s test return positive the week of 5/17/22. This employee was sent home on quarantine and the facility implemented it’s outbreak protocols which included the wearing of N-95 masks and weekly testing of residents and staff. During the week of 5/25/22, two other staff results returned positive. We continue to test weekly all staff and residents and will continue until we’ve had 2 consecutive weeks of all negatives. No resident tests have returned positive, and they are 98% fully vaccinated with boosters planned for June of 2022. Visitation has not change, but we asked our visitors to continue observing the Infection Control Practices of the facility which include symptom screening, hand hygiene, and wearing mask when walking through the facility or in common areas.
