COVID-19 Update May 3

5/3 COVID Update:  Over the last week, test results returned with no new COVID cases.  We continue with testing twice a week for the remainder of this week and next week we will decrease to once per week.  Adams County Positivity Rate this week is below 10%. We continue working on setting up vaccination appointments outside of the facility for those residents that are interested in becoming vaccinated and we are working with our pharmacy to offer vaccinations in house.  Please contact Patty Weaver, our Infection Control Specialist if you are interested in learning more about vaccinations.  One of the benefits of becoming vaccinated is if a resident is admitted or readmitted following a hospitalization they do not need to quarantine if they are free from COVID symptoms and once fully vaccinated family can visit their loved one with a mask on without social distancing.  To schedule a visit with your loved one, please call our Activities Department to make an appointment for your visit at (717) 334-6249.
