COVID-19 Update November 19
11/19/21 COVID This morning we received a result back that 1 staff member was positive for COVID. The employee was originally tested on 11/16/2021, is asymptomatic, and is on Home Quarantine. The employee is a dietary worker who is not a care giver and has limited contact with our residents. However, at this time all we ask that all non-essential visitation be limited until we are able to determine if there are any additional cases. Our plan is to complete full outbreak testing for all residents and staff on Monday 11/22/21 and Monday 11/29/21. Appointments are required for all indoor visits and only compassionate care visits will be approved. Once we have established that no other residents and staff have been affected by completing two weeks of negative testing, we will reopen to our regular visitation policy. Masks are required for visitation for all residents and visitors regardless of vaccination status or visit location at this time. County Positivity Rate was at 7.62% this week. This means we in a SUBSTANTIAL transmission rate according to the Center for Disease Control. Please stay safe and healthy!
