COVID-19 Update November 22

11/22/21 COVID UPDATE: We completed our baseline testing of all residents and staff. I am happy to report that all residents were tested and negative. We did however have one new employee test positive.  The employee was originally tested on 11/19/2021, is asymptomatic, and is on Home Quarantine. We are still asking at this time, that all non-essential visitation be limited until we are able to determine if there are any additional cases.  Our plan is to complete full outbreak testing for all residents on Monday 11/22/21 and staff on Tuesday 11/23. Once we have established that no other residents and staff have been affected by completing two weeks of negative testing, we will be considered cleared of this outbreak. Masks are required for visitation for all residents and visitors regardless of vaccination status or visit location at this time.  County Positivity Rate was at 7.62% this week.  This means we in a SUBSTANTIAL transmission rate according to the Center for Disease Control.
